Our Friendly & Dedicated Options Staff

For clients who have behavioral challenges and wish to improve their social and/or vocational development, Build Rehabilitation Industries offers a Behavioral Day Program known as Options. The Options Program admits clients from a vast array of developmental disabilities, behavioral patterns and challenges offering a safe place to learn and acquire healthy behaviors.

Clients served are encouraged to reach their full potential through a variety of seminars, training, recreational activities, community outings and social functions. Furthermore, Build’s Options Program, in coordination with the Build Rehabilitation Work Activity Program, provides clients with opportunities to learn job skills through simulated and piece rate work activity training.

The Build Options Program’s support staff, certified in PRO-ACT and CPR/First Aid, is well-trained, compassionate and dedicated to providing exceptional care and instruction to their clients, while also making them aware of the numerous community resources and natural supports available to them. There is a 1:3 staff/client ratio, as well as 1:1 intensive intervention. Staff regularly monitors client behaviors and attempt to replace and/or modify problem behavioral patterns.

The Options Program staff is also available to assist with the client’s self care needs, including toileting and assistance with medication.

The Build Rehabilitation Options program admits consumers, with behavior challenges, over the age of 18, referred by a Regional Center Consumer Service Coordinator. In addition to behavioral challenges, the Options Program admits and accommodates persons with, but not limited to, all of the following developmental disabilities:

  • Other Developmental Disabilities
  • Attention Deficit Disorder
  • Mental or Emotional Disabilities
  • Non-Ambulatory/Physically Disabled
  • Industrially Injured
  • Hearing / Visually Impaired
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Controlled Seizures
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Schizophrenia
  • Psychiatric Problems
  • Other Behavioral Problems
