GALPIN MOTORS AND BUILD REHABILITATION INDUSTRIES, A SAN FERNANDO VALLEY NONPROFIT, CELEBRATE 30 YEAR PARTNERSHIP
For 30 years, Galpin Motors has partnered with the Build Rehabilitation Industries Supported Employment Program, which promotes the employment of people with developmental disabilities. This long-lasting relationship has served as a model for many other companies in hiring workers from Build Rehabilitation Industries. During the 30 year partnership, Galpin Motors has worked with Build Rehabilitation Industries to provide employment to nearly 150 adults with developmental disabilities. Disabled employees in this program are talented individuals who work hard as a team to earn a paycheck and learn transferable skills.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate 30 years of partnership with Build and look forward to continuing to support their efforts to build a diverse workforce,” said Beau Boeckmann, President of Galpin Motors. “My father, Bert Boeckmann, and I thank Build and its employees for the great work they’ve done over the years and hope other companies will also look to partner with this outstanding organization.”
“Over the last 30 years, Galpin has been a fantastic business partner, and has maintained high quality product and employment standards that are second to none. Bert Boeckmann and the Galpin management team have consistently shown leadership in both business practices and in their civic partnerships. We look forward to many more years of partnership,”said Matt Lynch, the CEO of Build Rehabilitation Industries
The Build Rehabilitation Industries Supported Employment Program is dedicated to ensuring that developmentally disabled adults are given every possible opportunity to achieve their individual employment goals. Build Rehabilitation Industries matches candidates with employers across the San Fernando Valley, and Burbank, to facilitate the employment and apprenticeships of people with disabilities.
